Today was the last day for Brisbane’s Good Food & Wine Show. Every year this event kicks off without a hitch as thousands of food and wine lovers walk up the steps to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
This morning I sent an Emily Rose spy to take a peak at the show in all of its glory. While the show may have been winding down on closing day, the guests were not. Enthusiasts of all ages (18+ of course) were making the most of the complimentary samples from Tucker’s Natural in the cheese alley, gathering tricks around the kitchen from celebrity chefs and meeting amazing authors at the Dymock’s book signing.
Apparently a real favourite was a chance to sample amazing menu items created by Maggie Beer at the Yalumba Y Series Restaurant. I am sure that the paired wines would have gone down a treat too.
