The carefully selected drinks list is just as extensive as the food list with a 2013 Wild Rock ‘Cupids Arrow’ Pinot Noir from Central Otago, a brilliant 6 Strings IPA and a Hotel Comodoro cocktail that blows the mind of all.

The cocktail is an impressive mix of blood orange, lime, vanilla and a subtle hit of cigar smoked orange, with the recipe inspired by the hotel itself along the Straits of Florida.

Named in honour of the managers’ own travels in Havana, and using the cigars that came home with him, this delicious concoction is one to remember.

Passionate about people and food as well as good drinks, Kettle and Tin encourages diners to enjoy a few grazing plates with good company and one by one the satisfying delights make their way to the tables.

The Raw Beetroot Carpaccio makes for a fresh and healthy start with surprising and delightful deep fried capers found amongst the watercress, pine nuts and goats cheese.

The Pumpkin and Feta Ravioli with burnt butter and sage and the Cuban Style Half Shell Scallops with passionfruit green mojo dressing both boast incredible flavors and are perfect for grazing with the cocktails.

For a more sizeable sharing dish, the Moroccan Spiced Lamb Rump is cooked to perfection and is served with kale and unique spiced chickpeas. Care and attention has been given to the dish with easiness of sharing in mind.

However the highlight of the menu is the Crispy Skin Salmon. The beetroot puree is fresh and the colour of the vegetables pop on the French Revol basalt plate.
