On Thursday evening Brisbane were invited to celebrate the King of Pop with a sensational performance showcasing the best of the Jackson 5.
Coming direct from one of the world’s most vibrant theatre districts, London’s West End, Thriller Live brought an incredible level of energy and excitement to the stage.
The international cast of performers, dancers and remarkable vocalists captivated the audience with a flair for the phenomenal pop music of the 1970’s.
Hits included ABC, Billie Jean and Beat It, with a fantastic spotlight on guitarists Damien Cooper and Michael Mondesir who boasted instrumental techniques that made the crowd go wild.
Thriller Live entranced the audience with leading vocals by some of Australia’s own talent, including rising star Prinnie Stevens who has a strong background in musical theatre.
However Brisbane’s Michael Jackson fans roared with enthusiasm and excitement as UK born Sean Christopher performed draw-dropping solo’s, moonwalks and incredible choreography that payed tribute the King of Pop himself.
Thriller Live pulled out all the stops to create an energetic setting for crowd involvement. Crazed fans and guests mimicked the superstar dance moves and joined in the songs themselves.
The show remained on a constant high throughout the evening, delivering a tribute to Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 with a theatrical display of disco lighting, jaw dropping choreography and astonishing vocals.
