In an event as fabuleaux and chic as Paris itself, Palace Cinemas will once again be hosting the annual French Film Festival from March 13.
With French wine and canapés, live entertainment and a fashion party, the movie theatre will be the dazzle of the town as 49 films are featured until the festival’s end date on April 1.
The opening night gala will feature the screening of Gemma Bovery, directed by Anne Fontaine who had also made 2010’s Coco Avant Chanel. The night will begin with pre-drinks and end with a fabulous Cocktail party with gift bags to stylishly launch the festival.
On March 26, Palace Cinemas will be hosting La French 70’s Soirée in celebration of the screening of The Connection.
Pre-drinks will feature French canapés themed in reference to the organised crime of Marseille during the 1970s.
Another highlight includes Ze Fashion Party, where the screening of Saint Laurent (the eagerly awaited biopic of the designer Yves Saint Laurent himself) will be preceded in luxury.
With a fashion party catered for by Sofitel, and French sparkling on the wine list, Alliance Française advises to ‘dress to impress’.
The closing night will feature the only screening of Paris, Je T’Aime, preceded by the event “Paris, Paris”.
Featured only at Palace Centro and Palace Barracks, the 26th Annual French Film Festival promises two and a half weeks of love stories, drama, comedy, and of course – beautiful cinema.
