Slip your heels on fashion-lovers, because for the first time Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane is opening front row seats to the general public.
Previously reserved for VIP guests, media and Fashion Festival partners, more than 120 front row seats (the best in the house) will be available for public purchase this June.
The runway this year will be constructed at the Brisbane Showgrounds; a vastly larger location than the Brisbane City Hall, where the festivities were held in former years.
Brisbane Fashion Festival Director Lindsay Bennett says that the change of location is a repayment of the loyalty of Queensland’s Fashion Festival goers, for the season’s 10th anniversary.
“Our new home … offers a fantastic large space and we plan to utilise it to create our biggest ever runway, and provide a limited number of highly coveted front row seats to purchase” Mr Bennett says.
Those who are lucky enough to score a front row seat have the opportunity to mingle with several stars attending the Festival this year.
High profile names at the Brisbane Showgrounds in August will include Alex Perry, Stephanie Rice, Kristy Hinze and Vogue Editor Edwina McCann.
