As of last month, one of Brisbane’s cutest and coolest stores has relocated from Paddington to Edward St, and on Thursday Showroom held a classy and sophisticated opening party in celebration of the move.
Showroom first emerged in the boutique surroundings of Paddington on Latrobe Street in 2014, and in the space of a year, has flourished into a niche, unique and stylish home for all things neo-traditional.
Founder of Showroom Catherine Roberts envisioned the store to not only be a place to shop, but a place for designers and creatives alike to place their products in a space outside of the world wide web.
Showroom features highly original brands that were previously easier to source online, but are now able to be seen and touched in an environment that has the effect of a perfectly eye-catching Instagram account.
Brands on show in Showroom include Anise Skin, Ball Mason Jars, Milly Dent and PF Candle Co.
Not only is Showroom the perfect store for creatives and entrepreneurs, but those who are interested in homemaking and creative activities can attend workshops held by the most experienced in the field.
Workshops have previously included terrarium making, chief and kewpie weaving and various business talks to help potential entrepreneurs start up their ideas.
