Local fashion boutique The Fleet Store launched their 2015 season at the State Library.
Designer’s were given the opportunity to show off the best of their creations to the local fashion community.
The Fleet Store is a collaboration between Bachelor of Fine Arts (Fashion) and Business students from the Queensland University of Technology, showcasing some of Brisbane’s most up-and-coming fashion designers.
One highlight was Grammar by Kathryn Walsh. Her label Grammar
describes itself as “(focussed) on attention to detail and infuses wardrobe staples with unexpected creativity.”
Claire Woodfield was one of the event’s organisers. Woodfield runs the label Covert, which specialises in hip and unique vegan apparel and accessories.
Isabel Bryam, who owns the label Florentina, gave Brisbane the chance to see her ultra-chic reversible work to leisurely lunch top.
The Fleet Store’s 2015 launch highlighted clothing, accessories and artwork by Brisbane’s trendiest students.
As the fifth year that The Fleet Store has been running, the 2015 launch party showcased numerous talented young designers who have a lot to offer the Brisbane fashion community.
