Everest

Universal Pictures’ film Everest is a high impact action thriller based on the true events of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster.

Eight people were caught in a blizzard on the 1996 tour groups and died on Mount Everest during summit attempts.

Everest took a close view of two expedition groups, one led by Scott Fischer (Gyllenhaal) and the other by Rob Hall (Clarke).

With an intention to be viewed in 3D, the film brought the audience to the heart of the dramatic trek.

The incredible cinematography and three dimensional effects brought avalanches, crevasse falls and hurricanes at 27000 ft to the big screen.

This unpredictable climate of Mount Everest created a riveting story and an intense backdrop for the drama film to unfold below the summit of the world’s tallest peak.

Everest was an emotion-charged film with ice-cold gritty scenes that delivered a thrilling take on the mountaineering movie genre with a twist of kiwi accents thrown in for good mix.
