Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm open in Brisbane

On Friday last week, Fortitude Valley welcomed the opening of the first Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm stories in Queensland.

At 9:30am, crowds queued and excitedly awaited the chic opening of one of American’s most beloved furnishing and homeware stores.

When doors opened at last, visitors were greeted with an elegant display of gorgeous American styled homewares that included everything from flameless candles, to linen, throws and cushions.

Guests were provided with a breakfast of golden croissants filled with bacon and tomato, a fruit bowl, Bourbon Choc-Chip Cookies, and a refreshing detox drink of watermelon, orange and strawberry.

As shoppers strolled along the three stores, gorgeous products were discovered, making home decoration fun, exciting and easy, since there were products to suit any style of living place.

Prices are affordable, and for such high quality homewares, Pottery Barn and West Elm certainly deliver.

Finally, the ribbon was cut, marking the beginning of an exciting period of shopping for women and men across the city, making more and more Brisbane homes glamorous, and of course, warm and welcoming.

Guest host Kara Rosenlund, who works as a Brisbane-based photographer and stylist says the opening is great news for Brisbane shoppers.

“[Pottery Barn in Brisbane] will give Brisbane the chance to shop and experience retail and dedicated service on another level, something we haven’t had the opportunity to be engaged in before now. It is a very exciting time to be shopping in Brisbane,” Rosenlund says.

The opening not only provided for eager homeware lovers, but also entertained kids as Pottery Barn Kids hosted a crafting event where children could create paper rosettes and mini badges.

The Pottery Barn Kids activity was hosted by Brisbane stylist Kara Hynes (or Lulu Lucky).

In celebration of the opening, West Elm has partnered with Brisbane designer and letterer Jasmine Dowling to offer its first 300 customers a limited-edition tote bag when spending $50 or more.

Join in on the hustle, and explore Brisbane’s sleekest and classiest homewares and furnishing store soon.
