From academy award winning writer-director Brian Hegeland comes the true story of the rise and fall of London’s most notorious gangsters, Reggie and Ronnie Kray, both portrayed by Tom Hardy in arguably one of his best performance yet.
Legend is a classic dark crime thriller showing us insight of the 1960’s and the extraordinary events of the violent and ruthless Kray twins.
The story is told through the eyes of Frances, an East End teenager who becomes infatuated with the superficially charming Reggie and marries him, only to regret it. Frances is played by Australian actor Emily Browning, and she gives an excellent performance with a British ascent alongside Tom Hardy.

As much as it is a retelling of the infamous Kray twins, Legend is a showcase for the considerable talent of Tom Hardy. Hardy plays the smooth, sprucely dressed and persuasive Reggie and the moody changing, unbalanced twin Ronnie.

It is purely captivating to watch Hardy differentiate between the two brothers in a narrative where Reggie often seems on the verge of going straight, but is constantly dragged to the darker side of gangster crime by his unstable twin.

This is a violent movie with subtle humour but is utterly gripping with an extraordinary double performance.
