Top tunes for Australia Day

1. Marcus Marr & Chet Faker – The Trouble With Us

This collaboration between the London-based DJ and Aussie’s own Chet Faker is one of four catchy tunes the pair released on their EP Work last month.

2. Jess & Matt – Nothing Matters

2015 X-Factor finalists Jess Dunbar and Matt Price released this single in November before placing in third in the competition.

3. Cyrus – Stone

When looking at X-Factor contestants, you can’t go past this season’s winner Cyrus Villanueva’s smooth and sultry voice to warm your heart.

4. Conrad Sewell – Who You Lovin

Born and raised in Brisbane but currently living in LA, singer and songwriter Conrad Sewell has just released his debut album All I Know, with his single Start Again winning Song of the Year at the ARIA awards.

5. Guy Sebastian – Black and Blue

Sebastian’s latest single has the highs and lows any great hit needs to keep you passionately singing along and dancing around your barbeque this Australia Day.

6. Mashd N Kutcher – My Sunshine

The Australian DJ duo brought this 90’s classic back into our hearts with some help from Canadian brother and sister team Len, the hit’s original artists.

7. Birds of Tokyo – I’d Go With You Anywhere

The new hit from Birds of Tokyo has the kind of inspirational vibe that makes you feel alive and invincible– what better way to celebrate living in the greatest country in the world?

8. Troye Sivan – Youth

Hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa, Sivan’s family moved to Australia when he was two years old. The Youtuber turned singer/songwriter has now released four EPs with as many singles.

9. The Rubens – Hoops

It’s impossible to resist the urge to dance along (or at least tap your feet) to the beat of the alternative rock band’s latest hit.

10. AC/DC – Highway To Hell

Finally, it’s not a true Australia Day celebration until somebody breaks out some good old fashioned ACDC.
