The circus and fun go hand in hand, but fitness? This action packed class will have you working up a sweat without you noticing as you learn to spin plates, master the stilts and much more.
Free for all ages, Circus Skills includes activities such as sack races, hula hooping and poi twirling on Sunday mornings in Milton’s Frew Park.
No bookings are required, just meet the talented circus crew at the playground and prepare to run away with the circus… even if it is just for an hour.

2. For the dancer…Hip Hop Dance Circuit
If you’re no stranger to the dance floor and you love learning a new move or two, why not take part in the Hip Hop Dance Circuit?
Run by Lyrical Equations, this class will have you moving and loving every minute of it. Meet at the Kangaroo Point Café Saturday mornings to bust a move and take part in this unique fitness experience.

3. For the new mum…Mums Fit Camp
It can be hard to find the motivation to get back into a fitness routine after having a baby.
If you’re keen to tone that baby belly and regain your pre-baby body meet the friendly group from Barefoot Fitness at the Sherwood Arboretum playground Tuesday mornings.
With a focus on toning arms, thighs and abs, Mums Fit Camp encourages mums to bring their little ones and socialise with other mums while getting fit.
Don’t worry about booking ahead, just come along with your bub or toddler, or come alone for some much needed you-time.

4. For the fitness fanatic…Latin TLC Training
Held Tuesdays evenings in West End’s Orleigh Park, Latin TLC Training is not for the faint of heart.
Set to the infectious beat of Latin music, this fitness class will challenge you to the max.
Divided into two sections – strength and cardio – Latin TLC Training uses practical training techniques to effectively work out the upper and lower body.

Take in the relaxing surroundings in one of Brisbane’s most beautiful parks while achieving that perfect stretch.
Set to the soothing sounds of live music, Yoga by the River invites people of all ages and abilities to take part.
Meet near the ferry terminal for a Sunday afternoon session that will help you find your centre and invigorate your body.
