10 Cloverfield Lane

Suspense, uncertainty and an excellent soundtrack – 10 Cloverfield Lane is beyond impressive.

The latest film from Bad Robot captures the story of a woman rescued from a car wreckage and finds herself locked away, alone, in a bunker.

What follows is an enthralling 100 minutes of unanswered questions, gripping emotional breaks and an eerie sense of home.

The audience battles with doubt and disbelief as they struggle to comprehend the unusual nature of the film and predict a conclusion, where it seems there is no plausible answer.

Featuring break out performances from both Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr, the film is carried through the ebb and flow of these two personalities, then interrupted with the explosive Howard, played by John Goodman.

The film makes ties to 2008’s Cloverfield, and its sinister sci-fi accents, but defies as a spectacular stand-alone film.

Ensure to put 10 Cloverfield Lane on your must watch list.

  1. I think you are being very kind about this genre mashup of a film. Trouble is that you have to invest 90 minutes of your life to see how bad a 10 minute ending can be. Please drop in for a read of my take on this mess. I’m now following you.
