Alliance Francaise French film festival hits Palace Cinemas in March

The 28th annual Alliance Francaise French film festival is coming to Brisbane from 16 March to 9 April.

Showing at Palace Cinemas Barracks and Centro, the festival will showcase French comedies, romance, drama and thrillers.

Boom your tickets early for a series of special events including french country themed party followed by a screening of an unmissable feel good movie One Man and his Cow.

A highlight of the festival is The Dancer. Inspired by Belle Époque, The Dancer is an enchanting story about a young girl determined to fulfil her father’s dreams for her.

With 45 films on show, others worth putting in the diary include the hilarious and good fun film A Bun in the Oven and romance film From the Land of the Moon, about a spirited women in search of true love.

After reaching sales records in 2016, this year’s French film festival is expected to entertain and delight Brisbane.
