French fig liqueur Esprit de Figues is the latest cocktail trend to hit Brisbane.

The liqueur is the newest creation by Patrick Borg and his team at Australian liquor distribution company, Think Spirits.

Esprit de Figues has been infused with handpicked Violette de Bordeaux figs for three months and bottled at a 150 year old distillery located in Burgundy, France – it’s no wonder it’s a huge hit with the ladies!

The liqueur denotes notes of fresh fig, raspberry jam and a hint of smooth honey that lingers on the tongue.

The Art Nouveau inspired bottle makes for a perfect celebration drinks during hens parties, 30th’s or a night at your girlfriends place and here’s how:

Ingredients:

40ML ESPRIT DE FIGUES

20ML VANILLA VODKA

2 DASHES OF BITTERS

10ML FRESH LEMON JUICE

Method:

SHAKE WITH CUBED ICE AND FINE STRAIN INTO A COUPETTE GL ASS. GARNISH WITH A SPRIG OF THYME AND A SLICE OF FRESH FIG.

30ML ESPRIT DE FIGUES

50ML SODA

50ML SPARKLING WINE/PROSECCO/CHAMPAGNE

Method:

POUR SODA AND SPARKLING OF CHOICE INTO A LARGE WINE GLASS. TOP WITH ESPRIT DE FIGUES. GARNISH WITH A SLICE OF FRESH FIG AND AN ORANGE ZEST.
