Valley Fiesta is set to be huge this year as we celebrate 21 years of free live, local and international music for Brisbane.
The festival is celebrating an epic line up including rock n’ roll inspired by The Rolling Stones and loud punk pop, plus free entry for locals and visitors.
Valley Fiesta is bringing the Australian music scene to Fortitude Valley with a local Brisbane band The Seefelds and an Australian line up featuring punk pop band Rackett and The Jensens. The Brisbane boys pump out short and sharp rock tunes and they’ve had multiple stints at Triple J.
International artists will bring in the crowds like hip-hop artist Farman Scoop who topped the UK charts with hit song Be Faithful. The loud and boisterous artist received his nickname after appearing as an ice cream man in the Fugees’ video for their single ‘Killing Me Softly’.
With over 50 artists and performers ready to entertain festival goers have the chance to see a multicultural showcase and a QMA showcase.
A live and local DJ and a band competition is perfect place to bring your mates.
Presented by Brisbane City Council, Valley Fiesta will run for two days from Friday 27 to Saturday 28 October and is expected to bring in about 65,000 people.
There will be pods and main stages around Brunswick Street Mall and Chinatown Mall with acts for day goers and the night owls.
