Champagne flowed at the recent opening of the 29th French Film Festival in Brisbane.
Lovers of French Cinema and party goers flocked to Palace Barracks to enjoy a very special evening and screening of C’est La Vie! to celebrate what promises to be the festivals most successful year to date.
On arrival, guests were served a glass of bubbly as an excited crowd socialised and mingled outdoors beforehand. Guests swooned in classic stripes, berets and chic Chanel inspired numbers.
After a surprise speech from director David Foenkinos (Jealous) guests were treated to goodie bags, drinks, canapes and delicious beef bourguignon cooked to absolute perfection!
Every year the festival grows in popularity and this year there are 50 films on offer, screened over twin venues of Palace Centro and Palace Barracks.
The ticketed special events will bring a touch of glamour and excitement to Brisbane including a Taste of France, an evening screening of Back to Burgundy themed with exquisite French wine and cheeses.
