The fifth franchise in the Jurassic Park movie series continues with the same volcanic excitement and edge of your seat thrills.
Dinosaurs run riot and our heroes gear up for extraordinary stunts to save the day against some new baddies on the scene.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set three years after the timeline from the previous movie.
The Jurassic World theme park on Isla Nublar that was pillaged by dinosaurs has been abandoned and left to the dinosaurs who roam free.
Mount Sibo volcano on the island is set to erupt and destroy everything. As part of an ambitious plan to capture and move all the dinosaurs to a safer island before the eruption, former Jurassic World Theme Park Operations Manager, Claire (played by Bryce Dallas Howard) ventures to the island to save as many dinosaurs as she can.
Claire enlists former dinosaur trainer, Owen (played by Chris Pratt) to join her on Isla Nublar to save Blue, the velociraptor his raised and trained.
Once they arrive on the island, Claire and Owen discover that teams of mercenaries have also been engaged to capture the dinosaurs to sell them to the highest bidder.
As the volcano erupts our heroes face a race against time to escape the clutches of the mercenaries.
When the dinosaurs captured by the mercenaries get transported to a dreary, castle-like estate in America the inevitable escape occurs and the dinosaurs create havoc – taking the movie to a new level of action and gory deaths.
In Jeff Goldblum’s brief appearance as Dr Malcolm, he gives a taster for a rumoured sequel with “the world must now get used to living with dinosaurs.”
Executive Producer Steven Spielberg has created another blockbuster with all the wonder, adventure and thrills that have been synonymous with the Jurassic Park franchise for the last 25 years.
