CAFES + RESTAURANTS

3 romantic pizza joints in Brisbane’s inner city

We  love the quaint Italian restaurants around Brisbane – especially those serving up huge cheesy pizza with good red wine, dim lights and a bit of atmosphere – hey even a tealight candle if we’re lucky.

We’ve checked out some awesome pizza joints in Brisbane that will give your date comfort food with a bit of romance.

  1. Take your wifey or special someone to Café Marinara Trattoria in Paddington. The restaurant gives off a ‘little Italy’ vibe with tiny tables in cosy nooks for hand holding, wait staff wandering around with dessert trays and awesome seafood topped pizza.
  2. Surprising the hubby? Corbett & Claude in Brisbane CBD (nearby Eagle St Pier) will take you underground to a vibrant restaurant and bar. If you book ahead ask for the table at the back it’s own room and order your man The Man Eater cigar pizza, order yourself The Forager and grab a few margarita cocktails.
  3. You won’t go wrong with Julius Pizzeria in South Bank. The restaurant is always bustling and might take you 30 minutes to get a table but when you do it’ll be well worth it. We devour the Funghi Misti every time and pair it with a good white wine.
