Saba Artisan Bakery on Boundary Road in Bardon is pushing out box loads of authentic Italian pizza made with heat and passion in their wood fired oven.
The eatery turns from a modern Italian bakery with scones, loaves of home baked breads and a Saba dog bowl for the four-legged friends by day to a hip and family friendly pizzeria by night.
Located off the roundabout connecting Toowong, Rosalie, Rainworth and Bardon, Saba Artisan Bakery is soon becoming a popular eat-in and takeaway pizzeria for the regulars, newbies and greedy Brisbanites of the surrounding suburbs.
The chic bakery is fitted with pops of bright orange against the white tiling and black features.
Behind the white counter, the Italian chef hand rolls the house made dough before flipping it to form the perfect traditional base.
The simple tomato, mozzarella and basil ingredients sit delicately on top of the soft and doughy base, creating a mouth-watering Margherita pizza like those found in Italy itself.
The 4Cheese with mozzerella, gorgonzola, parmiggiano and percorino is salty and stringing while the Volcano packs a punch with hot chilli that truly makes it worth the ‘dough’.
However one cannot look past the gooey chocolate Nutella with a plain wood fired base that draws in the drooling crowds of adults and especially children.
At Saba Artisan Bakery the authentic Italian pizzas are served fresh and hot to order and are designed to be teared apart with nothing but the fingers, honouring fun and exciting Italian traditions.
