The Flying Nun Café is a quirky and unique eatery situated in the now converted Uniting Church of Samford Village.
Original Church doors, antique gates, chandeliers and stunning stain glass windows remain the feature of the café, with the addition of quirky garden ornaments such as hidden lady beetles and enchanting mushrooms.
The warm and friendly service ensures all diners are well cared for while creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Diners are able to personalise fresh juice orders with the likes of green apples, beetroot and celery available.
The highlight on the lunch menu is the vegetarian Middle Eastern falafel. This comes served with beetroot puree, caramelised sweet potato, Swiss chard, rocket salad and delicious sumac yoghurt.
The Lamb Kofta Skewer is matched against a fresh fattoush salad and lemon tzatziki.
The Flying Nun Café showcases charming presentation with a theme of fresh and edible flowers running through each dish.
