One of Australia’s largest tourists destinations, the Gold Coast, has launched a light rail to transport visitors and locals directly behind the esplanade and coastline.
Swimmers, shoppers and foodie’s are now able to take a fast and easy option to get from their home or accommodation to the heart of Surfers Paradise and more.
This modern and accessible transport option is the first of its kind in sunny Queensland, with a public-private partnership between the Queensland Government, City of Gold Coast, the Commonwealth of Australia and GoldLinQ.
The light rail connects sixteen stations with a 13km route from Broadbeach to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
