The 2015 festival of flowers, wine, food and of course music will feature performances by artists such as Meg Mac, The Preatures and Josh Pyke.
On Friday 18 September, Meg Mac, who won the 2014 annual Triple J Unearthed competition, will be performing her flavour of retro pop music as part of the Heritage Bank live concert series.
Next up will be Sydney-based pop rockers The Preatures. This band shot to fame last year after the release of their single ‘Is This How You Feel?’ Now, almost every ticket on their own 2015 national tour has been sold out.
The music doesn’t end there. On Sunday 20 September, world-renowned Australian artist Josh Pyke will be performing with the Toowoomba Concert Orchestra on the main stage. This show will be in support of his new album ‘But For All These Shrinking Hearts,’ which was released on July 31 to critical acclaim.
Other artists to grace the stage at the Carnival of Flowers includes Ben Wright Smith, Thelma Plum, Cody Simpson and Taxiride.
Not only is the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers an excellent showcase of food, wine and flowers, it is also an opportunity to see plenty of talented Australian artists.
