Storytime Ballet: The Sleeping Beauty

The Australian Ballet presents the beautiful and magical fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty, with a children’s Storytime Ballet production.

Perfect for girls and boys aged 3 and up, for the first time the ballet has designed its storyline and characters to engage its young audience.

The excited aspiring young dancers in the crowd are easily swept up in the romance of sparkling costumes and tutus, fairies with magical spells and elegant dancing.

The production features the princess Sleeping Beauty Aurora, who was put to sleep for 100 years, and features all your favourite characters that have been invited to her enchanting wedding including; her Prince charming, Cinderella and her glass slipper, Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf.

This magical tale especially suited for children is showing for the first time this year, presented through The Australian Kids Ballet and in conjunction with Telstra.
