Old Memory Lane is the latest treasure to open its years-old collections on the streets of leafy Paddington, with a tram bell on the wooden counter.
The two-level boutique homewares and antiques store stocks a brilliant range of fortunes for gifts and for the home, both new and old from across the globe.
Old Memory Lane is filled with Australian designed and made Tonic goats milk soaps, Autentico Duck Egg and Hydrangea chalk paints for home renovations, handcrafted bone scissors, Yarra Valley kitchen condiments and hand drafted lamp shades by Lady with the Lamp.
With a sharp eye for collector’s items, Old Memory Lane holds around one hundred Kodak cameras personally sourced from the United Kingdom and all in working order. These treasures are already being picked up by local photographers and transformed to create old-fashioned images.
The store also stocks genuine milk bottles and industrial bobbins from the United States of America, with original yarn still attached to some, and is soon to hold a vintage fashion collection downstairs.
Old Memory Lane holds the key to every antique desire with the ability to locate and bring in most items from the locals wish list.
