Ain’t no party like a TRYP party

Get that booty on down to TRYP Fortitude Valley Hotel for a fantastically funky weekend.

Brisbane’s urban-style street art hotel screams NYC, Reno and Cincinnati – all renowned for celebrating local street art in almost every neighbourhood like Banksy’s 31-day mural installation project for his 2013 NYC residency, Better Out Than In.

We’re lucky to have a hot spot like this is Brissie with each floor fully dedicated to a unique street artist including world-acclaimed Magee, Numskull, Rone and Beastman.

Oh and did we mention the artwork over the brick facade? You’d be mad not to check it out next time you pass by.

The recent reno carries the artwork through from lobby to hallways to individual rooms.

We checked out their King with courtyard rooms and were super pumped to see a private and funky open air outdoor room with faux grass, pontoon lighting and a sky high Beastman – vibrant Sydney based artist influenced by the beauty and symbolism behind nature’s.

Inside hung framed raw depictions of glamorous women by Rone, including an often recurring image of his so-called Jane Doe.

The ensuite carried a little funky of its own with matt Black tapware and a vibrant orange table top sink.

The NYC style black cage staircase carries the grunge theme throughout the hotel and the library is constantly full of workers who look like they’re straight out of the last season of Mad Men.

Despite the complimentary Wi-Fi with unlimited downloads, complimentary Valley Pool access, onsite gym, super personalised service for any celebratory requests and movies on demand we know everyone’s really here for the party atmosphere.

TRYP Fortitude Valley Hotel offers a sweet pad for party goers – starting with drinks in your private courtyard before dinner at one of the many hip restaurants in the surrounding alley ways (wall cakes with espresso martini’s at cakes & shit is a must). Then head back to the hotel for cocktails on their roof top bar.

Don’t plan to get back to your room until 2am? You’ll love the electric up and down block up blinds letting you sleep until the last call for a hot Chur Burger breakfast in the hip open air courtyard under your room.

We recommend the Chur Burger smoked salmon or house made baked beans with poached eggs and adding extra bacon to everything – it’s seriously good!
